Why do we worship?

Here at Echo Guitar Maintenance, we support all musicians no matter where you are on your journey. But why do we deeply focus on worship as a Christian based group?

We worship because it’s our response to who God is. All through Scripture, God’s people used music to express awe and gratitude — Moses after the Red Sea, David in every season, Paul and Silas even in prison. Music isn’t the only form of worship, but it’s one of the clearest ways we offer our hearts to Him.

The Bible says God inhabits the praises of His people (Psalm 22:3). When we sing, we’re not just making sound — we’re inviting His presence.

Worship also realigns our hearts with truth. Like David’s playing calmed Saul, our songs help quiet fear, refocus our minds, and lift our eyes back to Christ.

And our worship is a testimony — joining Mary’s song and the worship happening around God’s throne even now.

We sing because He is worthy, and because we were created for praise.
